Welcome to Aurora Public Schools' Newest CDC!
Sable Child Development Center is housed in the former Sable Elementary School building. We are excited to welcome students in Fall of 2024!
We provide 3 and 4-year-old children with a high-quality, play-based education that is engaging, inspiring and, most importantly, FUN! We believe that maintaining a safe, loving and joyful environment allows each student to truly flourish.
Our curriculum encompasses language and literacy, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), socio-emotional skills and even yoga! Our goal? To fully prepare your little one for kindergarten and for a bright future in our diverse, ever-changing world.

Program Schedules
Classes are held Monday through Thursday. There is no school on Friday.
Half-Day Morning Program: 9:15 am to 12:15 pm
Half-Day Afternoon Program: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Full-Day Program: 9:15 am to 4:15 pm
Students in both half-day and full-day programs will receive lunch meals.
Before and After Care
Ensure your child is engaged with enrichment programs throughout the week!
We offer before and after-school care through Rocky Mountain Kids! Please register directly through the RMK website and note that the program costs a fee.
RMK will provide on Fridays! We will post registration information here when it becomes available to us.
Follow the Steps Below to Register Your Child
If your child attended preschool in APS as a 3 year old:
Complete the Colorado Universal Preschool (UPK) application form for the 2024-2025 school year. Please be patient as you wait to receive confirmation from the state that your child has been placed.
If your child will be 3 years old on or before October 1, 2024:
Enroll by calling the APS Early Childhood Education Department at 303-326-2000.
If your child will be 4 years old on or before October 1, 2024:
Complete the Colorado Universal Preschool (UPK) application form for the 2024-2025 school year and select Sable CDC as your first choice.
